Community friendly living
Hemma is located in a semi rural quiet area in Lodtunduh, on the outskirts of Ubud. Children can bicycle on the street and there are fields and streams. Even so, Ubud center is just 10 minutes away.
Designed for families and built to be a safe contemporary home within a Balinese village.
Five Fibonacci Houses
Five of the seven houses at Hemma are nautilus-shaped homes suitable for four people, made with earthen walls and bamboo.
Two Angular Houses
Two of the houses are a more conventional shape and are suitable for six people.
Common Space
In the center of the compound is a common building made of bamboo surrounded by lawn, wooden decking and a pool. This is a place for playing, working, socializing, parties, events, education and childcare.
Public Space
Across the street from the main compound is a park with a larger 12x4 meter pool and gazebos that belongs to Hemma but is open to the public.
